My family has been on one cruise before, the Carnival Paradise or something of that sort. I felt, as did many of the people we were with, it was too small of a ship. I was told that there were much bigger ones that some of our friends had been on. My family is hoping to go on another cruise this December, probably through the Caribbean or somewhere down there. I am curious as to what cruise line and ship you would suggest we take, and where down south you think we should go. For your information, I am 18, so I would definitely want one which would allow me to gamble aboard. What do you think would be the most enjoyable for an 18 male? thanks
Oh, and also.. We would probably go on a 4-5 day one. And just so you know, I am much more into the boat life than the stops, hah.. thx
4 & 5 day cruises are ok, but I would suggest doing a 7 or 8 day. When you figure air fare and other cost involved in getting to the ship, a 7 day is a much better value.
I would suggest including St Maarten in your trip, it is one of the best ports, lots of things to do right off the ship and it is beautiful.
If you like the bigger ships RCCL Freedom or Liberty of the seas would be a good choice. Carnival tends to have more people your age, Try to go on a "Conquest" class ship such as the Valor or Liberty.
Other than that cruising is what YOU make it, get out and get involved, meet people, do things you wouldnt normally do.. and most of all have fun… All cruise are great with the right attitude….!

Since you like ship life, I would suggest Royal Caribbean’s Freedom or Liberty. They are the ones that have ice skating and the flow rider which is great fun.
