Cruise Ship Vacation: Your Questions Answered!
Cruise ship vacation days are plenty of fun and an incredible value, but they are not for everybody, so I’d like to explore what should be expected on a liner holiday and help you decide what kind of cruise is correct for you. I really think nearly everybody will like cruise ship vacation, but you have got to identify what sort of a cruise is for you – a short 4-day cruise, a long 14-day cruise, a Caribbean Cruise, a Mediterranean Cruise…well, you get the picture. I must confess that at one point I wasn’t keen on cruise holidays.
As a verifiable fact, I could not think about a worse way to spend a holiday than on a ship. But during the past couple of years, I have become a converted fan to cruise ship vacation and have been on 3 really lovely ( and totally different ) cruises ( basically because I was chasing an inexpensive travel deal ) and I will now truthfully say that I adore a cruise ship vacation! But let’s go over 1 or 2 questions you must ask to figure out if a cruise is for you or if a cruise isn’t for you. The top reason many individuals believe that they won’t like cruise ship vacation is really because they are susceptible to getting motion illness or sea illness. I actually understand this as I am able to get extremely sea sick when I’m a passenger on speed boats, little boats or catamarans if I don’t take the required cares.
For me, these cares involve taking a motion illness prevention product called Bonine ( for kids and grown-ups ) you can purchase at any pharmacy or department store like Target or Walmart ( but use only as instructed ). Personally, I haven’t had any issues with sea illness on cruise ship vacation ( even if we’ve experienced particularly high winds or swells and the ship was actually rocking ).
